Collection: Gymnastics Ribbons

Explore our full range of rhythmic gymnastics ribbons, from vibrant uni-colour training ribbons to stunning multi-colour competition ribbons from Pastorelli, Chacott and Sasaki.

Choosing the right length

Ribbon length is determined by age and competition level. Ribbons of 4 metres are used by younger and recreational gymnasts. The standard competition length is 5 metres for juniors competing under British Gymnastics or regional federation rules. Senior gymnasts and those competing at FIG-level events use 6-metre ribbons. If you are unsure, check with your coach or club — the wrong length can affect both training and competition eligibility.

What makes a good ribbon?

The best rhythmic gymnastics ribbons are lightweight yet strong, with vivid colours that hold their shape during throws and spirals. Pastorelli ribbons, for example, weigh just 37 grams (only 2 grams above the FIG minimum) and are woven using a traditional technique that balances lightness with excellent durability. Chacott and Sasaki ribbons are equally renowned among competitive gymnasts worldwide.

Ribbon sticks

Every ribbon needs a stick (sold separately). We carry a matching range of ribbon sticks in various lengths and materials. Make sure your stick length matches your ribbon length and meets your competition's technical requirements.
